Biography

Steven Finkelstein was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended Walnut Hills High School, graduating in the spring of 1999. He moved to Pittsburgh later that same year, attending Point Park College until 2002, at which time he transferred to The University of Pittsburgh. He graduated from Pitt in April of 2004 with a B.A. in English Writing. Since then, he has spent time in Los Angeles, New York, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, and Myrtle Beach. He has written three novels, a screenplay, a comic book series, and many short stories, essays, and poems. Over the past few years he has had stories featured in several publications, including Expressions Journal, Farmhouse, Freight Train, Bare Back, Kaleidoscopic Resonance, Perceptions, Oysters and Chocolate, Three Pillows, the anthology Patchwork Path: Dad’s Bowtie, and the U.K. publication Scarlet. He currently resides in Brooklyn, New York, and is working on his fourth novel.
