It brings me great pleasure to announce that for the first time ever, my first novel “Transitional Period,” and my second novel, “The Woods,” are now for sale as PDF files, right here on the website! I was never able to generate the interest in these books that I thought they deserved, but any fans of the blog now have the opportunity to subvert the authority of an often-cruel publishing industry, and support me as an artist directly. Just click on the new “Works For Sale” feature under “Pages” on the right hand side of the screen, and you can download “Transitional Period,” written during 2004-05, for $7.99, and “The Woods,” written during 2006, for $9.99, using PayPal. I apologize for not having these two as actual physical, for-purchase books, at least, as of right now, but for the moment these will have to suffice. If you are so inclined, you can, of course, print out the books yourselves once you purchase the PDF files. Perhaps someday someone will see fit to print them, but for now, this seemed to be the best option. I thank all of my buyers in advance, and I hope you enjoy these two stories, which, like all of my writing, were labors of love…love of the language, love of the craft, love of storytelling. My latest was finished recently, as I mentioned on the site before, and once I’m done editing I’ll start shopping it around, so maybe it will be the first one to find placement with a publisher. These two first efforts will have to tide you over for now, readers. Thank you all so much for your continued support, and I hope you’re enjoying your summer. The writer abides.
